Dr. Lambros Lambrou (Veterinary Surgeon & Founder)
Dr. Lambros Lambrou is the owner of Happy Valley Veterinary Clinic & Pet Hotel, which was founded in 1994 and was run in conjunction with his Limassol clinic, eventually replacing it in 2006. He lives on the premises with his wife Hana, two daughters Georgia and Eleni, along with their pet Dalmatian dog and Siamese cats.
Dr Lambrou received his veterinary degree in the Veterinary University of Brno the Czech Republic in 1976. He practiced within the gynaecological and obstetrics departments at the university as an assistant for 4 years, participating in scientific research.
He visited several clinics and universities in Greece, Germany, England, the Czech Republic, Austria, Jordan, Israel, USA, South Africa and Australia to observe different methods of veterinary practice and to gain more work experience. He visited various zoo's in Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa to study techniques of working with various wild animals.
He is Vice President of the Pancyprian Veterinary Association, the Director & Veterinary Surgeon for the Limassol zoo and was formerly the President of the Animal Welfare Committee in the Limassol district.
Dr. Lambrosís many years of experience working with wild animals has given rise to his fascination with African Culture. This love can be seen in the design of the clinic gardens and in his home with his intricate designs of African stone work and artefacts.
Dr. Lambros currently practices at his clinic in Erimi which he continues to develop and expand.
